Do you feel like you need a break to develop your jewelry project, but your daily life doesn't give you the time and energy you really need?

The jewelry art residency is an invitation to step away from the noise, change your pace, and gift yourself a space for concentration and creation. For a few days, you will have access to a professional workshop, personalized mentoring, accommodation, and the necessary time to move forward with clarity: define your direction, resolve doubts, and shape your pieces without interruptions. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Since spots are limited, if you are interested in participating in the residency, I would first like to get to know you and understand where you are at, what project you want to develop, and confirm if this experience is a good fit for you and if I can truly help you. To do this, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute call with me: it will be an initial meeting to connect, answer questions, and see together if the residency is what you need right now.

ABOUT ME

I'm Sonia Pibernat, a jeweler and teacher, and for about seventeen years, I've been dedicated to exploring the link between jewelry creation and the personal processes that make it possible. I trained at the Massana School and Industral School, finishing in 2009.

In 2015, I enrolled in the Hochschule Trier Campus Idar-Oberstein (Germany), where I pursued a Master of Fine Arts specializing in contemporary jewelry, graduating in 2018. Since then, my work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Europe, the United States, and Japan. Currently, I run Aglaya, a jewelry space in Ciutadella de Menorca where a gallery, artistic creation, training, and support for jewelers who wish to develop work with identity coexist. There, I teach classes, organize creative residencies, exhibitions, and collaborate with other professionals in the sector.

Professionally, I can say that I have a holistic vision of jewelry, as throughout my career I have worked in different fields that have allowed me to approach this craft from multiple perspectives. I started by participating in artisan markets, later I was part of the production department in companies in the sector and, since 2018, I have collaborated with galleries and exhibited my work in renowned museums focusing on artistic jewelry. Now I have my own project that encompasses many of the professional facets I have experienced throughout my career.
