DESCRIPTION:
This course is aimed at those who have already had a first contact with jewelry or who have completed the introductory course.
We will learn how to emboss to create volumes, we will use basic rivets to join different materials such as methacrylate, and we will learn different ways of final finishes on metal.
The pieces to be made will be of free choice, always incorporating the proposed techniques and materials.

At AGLAYA we have jewelry made with different materials, from precious metals such as gold, to bronze and wood. That is why it is important to know how to store the pieces and what to take into account so that they continue to be perfect.
I propose some specific care and how to clean them:
MATTE SILVER JEWELRY
This type of jewelry does not have a shine, therefore it can be cleaned by moistening the piece with water and applying a little baking soda with your fingers or a brush. Rinse with plenty of water and dry well.
BRILLIANT SILVER JEWELRY
These pieces are usually very shiny as they have a special polish, we recommend using cloth impregnated with silver cleaner to maintain their shine. Attention DO NOT use baking soda or toothpaste as you will take away the shine of the piece!
OXIDIZED SILVER JEWELRY
This type of silver, since it is already oxidized, will not change its state. What could happen is that with use, some parts, especially in rings, the patina may fade and the silver color may come out. In this case you can contact us to darken the piece again.
MATTE GOLD JEWELRY
For these pieces we can use the same method as with those of tinted silver.
BRILLIANT GOLD JEWELRY
For these pieces we can use the same method as with the shiny silver ones.
PATINATED BRONZE JEWELRY
If the bronze darkens a little, it can ALWAYS be DRY cleaned, with a chamois cloth, avoiding rubbing the surfaces where the patina (color) is. Attention, DO NOT wet the piece!
JEWELS WITH PIGMENTS OR PAINT OR WOOD
It is recommended not to wet these parts. It is also recommended to store them in a separate box to prevent them from scratching with other pieces.
